Andy Yeung

Andy Yeung is currently a visiting student in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Yeung holds a Master Degree of Music in Violin Performance (with full scholarships in Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas USA), Bachelor of Arts in Music Studies (Hong Kong Baptist University), under the tutelage of Andrew Ling and Jenifer Dalmas.
 
As an active violin player, Yeung joined Asian Youth Orchestra in 2016 and played the role as 2nd violin co-principal in 2017. In the past, Yeung assumed the role of concertmaster at the Stephen F Austin State University Orchestra and its Opera Orchestra, 2nd violin principal in Longview Symphony Orchestra. He was also the 2nd violin co-principal in Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra and Collegium Musicum Hong Kong. Currently Yeung is a viola player in Academy Symphony Orchestra.
 
Yeung also performed as a orchestral player in Luzern Festival, Ravello Festival, Young Euro Classic, Südtirol Classic Festival, Festival international De Santander, and different cities like National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing, Tokyo Opera City, and Wolf Trap in Washington DC.
He joined the John Ma Violin Studio in 2018, and he is working together with Mr. John Ma closely to teach and cultivate talented students.
